About Us

Fallbrook American Youth Football and Cheer is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that provides youth football and cheer programs for children 5 to 15 years of age in the Fallbrook, Bonsall, Pala, DeLuz, Rainbow, Oceanside and Camp Pendleton communities. Our programs teach fundamental values, skills and knowledge that children will use throughout their lives. If you are unsure if you are in our area, please contact us for the exact territory boundaries.

Mission:

It is the mission of the Fallbrook American Youth Football and Cheer Association to provide a safe and positive environment to teach the fundamentals of the sports of football and cheer. In doing so, the Association and its members will instill in each participant the principles of dedication, hard work, community, honesty, scholastic achievement, teamwork and sportsmanship.

Purpose:

The Fallbrook American Youth Football and Cheer Association was formed to:

  • Inspire youth, regardless of race, creed or national origin to practice the ideas of scholarship, sportsmanship, citizenship and physical fitness.
  • Familiarize all players with the fundamentals of football and cheer.
  • Provide an opportunity to participate in a supervised, organized and safety-oriented manner.
  • Keep the welfare of participants free from any adult ambition and personal glory.

Fallbrook American Youth Football and Cheer is developing two unique components that we are very proud to offer.

The first is our comprehensive School First program.  Our goal is to assist parents and teachers in impressing upon our players how important good grades are to their futures and then going a step further to assist them in making those good grades a reality.  We will not only require a 70% grade point average and acknowledge those members who achieve 96% or better, but will help all the members between the two averages who might be struggling in one area or another.

We will do this by keeping weekly tabs on student progress in order to catch a problem before it becomes a crisis and then provide academic resources to the parents who wish to attack the problem while it is small.  While our program will never guarantee any specific rate of success, we feel it is important to make the effort and stress the need to strive for excellence in the class as well as on the field.

All of our coaches will fully support parents and teachers in communicating the need to demonstrate the character traits of a good student and good citizen.

The second unique component to Fallbrook American Youth Football and Cheer is our Community Give Back Program.  The goal here is simple - give back to our community and teach our players and cheerleaders the importance of citizenship, compassion for others and volunteerism.  While none of our volunteer activities will be mandatory, we hope that member parents will support these efforts by impressing upon their own children the importance of giving back in your own community.  To find out more about our Community Give Back Program, please go to our Community Giving Link
